More photos...

This is a butterfly that someone pointed out at school as I was leaving so I thought I'd take some shots. The thing wouldn't stay still for more than 2 seconds on any one spot so I had to chase it around.

I saw this spot off the side of the road so I pulled off and tried to take some shots before the rain came. This is black and white, but when it had color it almost looked the same just because of the light contrast.

This was a broken tree I found while looking for a good shot. I took this and then removed the color from the background using Adobe to emphasize.

Hope you enjoy them and as always tell me what you think.

An amphibian rather..

This is a photo, of a frog obviously, that I took at a pool when I found it squatting on the rail of the ladder. I then got it to jump off so that I could get a face-to-face shot for an improved effect.

I like comments.

Local wildlife +pics!

The picture on the top is of two of the three raccoons that infiltrated my home yesterday evening, or rather the storage room so it's not like they were running around our house. The picture below that is of a squirrel probably familiar to most of you; it's the baby squirrel that people were so interested in today because it's so cute and awkward. The funniest part about it I thought was when people would come up and ask "What's wrong with it,-- Why is it so small?" as if the option of it being a baby was not even in the realm of possibility. Those things in the box are the animal crackers Dr. Reid provided it with, which would have been a bit twisted had the squirrel any knowledge of it's food.

Hope you enjoy it. If you comment that you like it I'll be sure to put up more photos, assuming we're allowed to. But I don't plan to have any 'Rodents Gone Wild: Hibernation in Cancun' pictures so there shouldn't be an issue.

Cheers,
Maxwell Edison
